CARMA’s primary purpose is to rescue sick or injured animals, provide them with necessary medical care and place them into caring homes.

Our resources, including veterinarians and medical facilities, separate us from traditional rescue organizations whose focus is on re-homing the homeless and allow us to save the suffering.

Scratch My Belly is still dedicated to saving dogs from high-kill shelters and the streets of Mexico.

With no paid staff, all donations go directly to the animals, covering their medical care, including life-saving surgeries. Though small, they are passionate, effective, and deeply committed to the animals they save.

Tiny Paws and Whiskers™ is committed to improving the health and survival rate of orphaned kittens through skilled fostering, reducing the community cat population through spay/neuter programs, preventing the spread of feline diseases, and matching rescued cats with loving forever families.
